What does God see in me?

So many of us think we aren't deserving of God's awesome love. But in reality, we are. Why? Because God said so. But how does God really...really feel about us? Here are seven things God wants us all to know. Not only does He want us to know this, but He's proven it through the cross of Jesus Christ. This is adapted from Louie Giglio's "Man in the Mirror" series.

1. God wants you to know He loves you. And He doesn't just say that, He proves it! Look at what Jesus did for us. If that's not love, I'm confused! God doesn't just generically love the world, He loves YOU...specifically...YOU!

2. God is grateful you are here today! He's not sad He created you. He hand-made you in the womb to be His son or daughter. Now that's just...WOW! He is grateful you are here and appreciates you for you.

3. He wants you to know that you are a rare and beautiful treasure. Rare because there is no one like you on the planet. And beautiful because He is woven into you...and God is amazing!

4. God forgives you. This is huge! Because of the cross, your sins, past, present and future are forgiven!

5. God is going to hold you to a high standard because you are His. However, He knows we are going to stumble and mess up. So, He always has mercy new, daily.

6. God has a special calling for you today! You're not just some insignificant worker-bee. No, God has a special calling for you everyday. So, do what you do to glorify Him.

7. All of heaven's cheering for you right now! As you go about your day, God and heaven are cheering you on. You have your own cheer squad!

No matter what, there are always, everyday, three people in your corner: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Even when you'

re down on yourself, these Three are standing with you, loving you, cheering for you, wanting you to succeed. And what's so great about that? They have GOD-POWER to help you along.
